House music has a wide scope to its sounds & elements. One of them (Sub – genre) is vocal house.

Vocal house is a sub genre that emerged in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. It is commonly composed of deep soulful vocals (usually sung by female jazz divas) and a piano break, at some stage of the tune. Other additional samples might be added to color the tune, which includes jazz loops, horns and funk basslines. 

The roots of this sub genre of house, is traced back the United States and later on got influences from Italy & The Balearics. Popular acts of this genre include artists like Freemasons, Kaskade, David Morales, Offer Nissim, Yinon Yahel and Star Tattoed.
